GENERATIVE ENGINE OPTIMIZATION

Generative Engine Optimization Services

Generative engine optimization services for the moment a model writes the answer instead of listing links. We build the entity clarity, the extractable content and the outside corroboration that decide which brands get named.

What Generative Engine Optimization Actually Is

A generative engine does not rank ten pages and let the user choose. It composes an answer, and in doing so it decides which sources to lean on and which brands to name.

That is a different optimisation target. The question stops being “can we rank for this query” and becomes “when a model assembles this answer, is our material the raw input it reaches for”.

In practice three things decide it: whether the model understands what your company is as an entity, whether your content can be lifted cleanly as a self-contained passage, and whether anything outside your own site corroborates the claim.

GEO and AEO are closely related and often used interchangeably. We treat GEO as the broader discipline of being the source a model composes from, and Answer Engine Optimization as the narrower work of winning direct question-and-answer surfaces.

What GEO Covers

OUR METHODOLOGY

The GEO Process

01

Prompt Mapping

We collect the prompts your buyers actually use, which look nothing like keywords, and record who the models currently name.

02

Entity Foundation

Structured data, consistent naming and the profiles that let a model resolve your brand to a single, confident entity.

03

Extractable Content

Answer-first passages that survive being quoted without their surrounding page, because that is how they will be used.

04

Corroboration

Earning the independent mentions and citations that let a model verify a claim it finds on your own site.

05

Machine Readability

Making sure what you publish is readable without JavaScript, which is where most sites quietly fail.

06

Citation Tracking

Re-running the prompt set on a schedule and reporting share of answer, because clicks will not show this work.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between GEO and AEO?
They overlap heavily and many people use them interchangeably. We treat generative engine optimization as the broader discipline of being the source a model composes an answer from, and answer engine optimization as the narrower work of winning direct question-and-answer surfaces. The underlying work shares most of its foundations.
Is GEO just SEO with a new name?
No, but it depends on SEO. Generative engines draw on the same crawling, indexing and quality systems, so technical health and genuine authority remain prerequisites. What changes is the target: you are optimising to be quoted and named, not to occupy a position.
How do you measure generative engine optimization?
By running a fixed prompt set on a schedule and recording whether you are named, alongside impressions and average position by query class, and branded search volume. Clicks are the wrong first measure here: our own published data found 99.2% of our page one queries produced no clicks at all.
How long does GEO take?
We target movement in citations and impressions within one to two quarters and measure it monthly. Model behaviour changes on its own schedule, which no agency controls, so we report what moved rather than promising a date.
Do we need GEO if we already rank well in Google?
Ranking well is a strong starting position, because generative engines lean on the same systems. It is not sufficient on its own: a page can rank first and still be passed over if its claims are not extractable or corroborated anywhere outside your own site.
